The beautiful actress Sneha has opted out of K.S. Ravikumar's film 'Jaggubhai'. The director approached the Bollywood actress Tabu to replace the role of Sneha. Tabu acted in many Tamil films including 'Siraichalai', 'Snehithiye' and 'Kandukondaen Kandukondaen'. Ravikumar earlier planned to direct the film with the Superstar Rajinikanth. However the project could not take off due to some reasons. So K.S. Ravikumar joined hands with Sarath Kumar

Shriya plays the heroine role in the film. Sneha was assigned to play the female lead but due to some reasons unknown she has backed herself from the project at the last moment and the director approached Tabu to don the role.
